How are young women redefining leadership today?

Today's young women are changing the meaning of leadership in the world. They are no longer just sitting back, but are stepping forward and Making decisions. Be it school, company, government or sports. Today's young women are making their mark everywhere. However, their access to top leadership positions is still very limited.

Why is women's leadership better?

According to a report in America, in companies where women have a higher representation, employees are happier and the profits of the companies are better. In an article published in Harvard Business Review, business experts Jack Janger and Joseph Folkman write that women-led countries had significantly lower deaths during COVID-19 and their outcomes were systematically better. Similarly, it was found that states with female leaders had lower mortality rates. This is enough to define the leadership ability of women.

Only 8.8% of top 500 companies have female CEOs

The role of women at the leadership level can be gauged from the fact that only 28% of global jobs will be given to women in the year 2025. According to Bloomberg Intelligence, only 6% of women are CEOs of companies across the world. Whereas in Europe and America, which consider themselves to be very progressive, only 8% of CEOs are women. Although Britain's big companies (FTSE 100) now have 43% women on their boards, there are still very few women in the top positions.

What difficulties do women face?

In an article published on the business website Market Watch on October 26, 2024, business journalist Charles Passy writes that female CEOs are fired 45% more often than men. Passy further writes that companies hand over the reins of the company to women only when there is a time of crisis or recession. This helps in removing them from the company because the chances of success in a crisis are very low. Today's young women are not only leading the way but are also showing the world a new and better path. Women are working with their wisdom and thinking about the welfare of all. Therefore, the coming time belongs to women and they are engaged in giving a new and better direction to the world.
